The acronym stands for Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Bölgesel Kalkınma ve İşletme Bilimleri Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi/Dokuz Eylul University Regional Development and Business Sciences Research and Application Center. It is a unit for research and practice.

The aim of this center is to do scientific studies on the subjects which are directly or indirectly related with the regional development and business administration sciences and to inform the results of these studies and the feedbacks and studies on these kinds of studies to the native and foreign associations and to contribute their developments. Since it was founded, it has worked together with the respectful associations of our region and run common projects. It has provided consultancy services to many private and state associations and it has done many important contributions with the certificate programs on education.
